In Call of Duty, obstacles that force you to leap through hoops are nothing new, although some of them take more effort than others. In light of this, allow me to describe how to get kills with the Akimbo Handgun while sliding in Modern Warfare 3 and Modern Warfare Zombies.
How to slide in MW3 and gain kills with the Akimbo Handgun
Let me give you a quick explanation of what Akimbo Handguns are before getting into the details. You can locate Akimbo in the Rear Grip section. It is an attachment that works with any Handgun. A few attachment options are disabled while using Akimbo, although you may dual-wield to have double the firepower.
One drawback is that Since you can't aim down the sights, Akimbo is imprecise. Even so, you may outrun your opponents quickly by running about and sliding as usual while carrying two pistols.
The greatest handgun in MW3 and MWZ for Akimbo handgun kills while sliding
For any handgun, the Akimbo attachment often unlocks later, so I advise applying it to whatever weapon you possess. With the following attachments, I'll be killing it on the Akimbo FTAC Siege:
- Rear Grip – Akimbo FTAC Siege
- Magazine – 72 Round Drum
- Muzzle – XTEN RR-40
- Barrel – CMRN-50
- Laser – 1MW Pistol Laser
These attachments are for bullet hoses used in Akimbo FTAC Siege handguns. The Laser aids with precision, and the 72-round magazines are excellent for extended firing. Remember No matter what you do, Akimbo Handguns are imprecise, so even if you play well, expect a few bouts to miss.
I suggest adjusting a setting in the settings menu if you're having trouble with the sliding portion of the task. Navigate to the controls menu, then choose Automatic Sprint.Like I've done in the picture above, . To start a slide now, just hit crouch (Circle on PlayStation, B on Xbox) anytime you're moving.
In multiplayer, players lose so quickly that I don't see the need to change your throwables or perks. Having said that, if you're going all in on a sliding akimbo construction, here's what I advise:
Disposables
- Tactical – Stun Grenade
- Lethal – Sticky Grenade
Stun Grenades are excellent because they momentarily render your opponent immobile, letting you draw closer. In the end, you can employ whatever throwable you like, but close-quarters Sticky kills are particularly rewarding.
Equipment
- Gloves – Commando Gloves
- Boots – Covert Sneakers
- Gear – Ghost T/V Camo
Given that tactical pads enhance sliding velocity, they make more sense than covert sneakers. The problem is that when you sprint, you stomp about like an elephant. You can be heard from a mile away by any competent player. With the help of covert sneakers, you may approach unseen.
In light of that, I suggest using Ghost T/V Camo to hide your approach from obnoxious UAVs.
Though enjoyable to use, I think an excellent SMG is preferable if you want to win engagements on a regular basis. If you have one, the Superi 46 is a superb choice for close-quarters combat and well worth constructing.
