If you're a gamer, E3 is like a week-long birthday celebration. It's when we learn what joys the big publishers have in store for us over the course of the next twelve months or so. At last, the hard work of developers and publishers is revealed, allowing us to see what they have been up to. This year's E3 will be quite different since everything will be done online because of the epidemic. That doesn't mean there won't be something to get enthusiastic about, either. We'll be sharing our predictions for what may be revealed at the major shows over the course of the next several days, building up to the big event. Here are our first expectations for the announcements made during the Xbox and Bethesda E3 presentation.
Microsoft has been catching up in the console market since the Xbox One launch fiasco. Now that the firm has advanced to the next generation of consoles, it is time to demonstrate its true capabilities. Massive expenditures in development studios have been made by Microsoft and the Xbox team, especially with the megaton purchase of ZeniMax Media (Bethesda, id Software, and others). We must now check out the projects these developers are engaged on. Even if some of these companies have just recently joined Microsoft, they were undoubtedly working on projects prior to joining the Xbox brand.
Halo Infinite
It's obvious that the next Halo game will take up a lot of space in the Xbox and Bethesda E3 expo. This intellectual property established the Xbox brand, and it has a great deal of goodwill to regain after its debut last year. It is unknown how this new installment will fit into the plot after Halo 5: Guardians's blunder. However, the hopeful new beginning of Halo Infinite is much appreciated. We are aware that the gameplay will take a more open-world approach. Expect this to be less of an open-world experience than The Witcher or Grand Theft Auto, and more like the desert and ice locales of Gears 5 where you discovered more portions to play through in the world. We also know that the multiplayer will be available for free, so information on how this will be made money would be helpful.
Stunning graphics are what we truly need to see in the gameplay video that will undoubtedly be released. When we last saw the game, the graphics were so bad that they became a well-known joke. Although the game is still intended to operate on the standard Xbox One, its creator, 343 Industries, is aiming for a stunning display on the next Xbox Series X and PC. We anticipate a noticeable enhancement in the game's appearance. And they may as well go home right now if they come out again and claim that ray tracing will be included in a patch at a later time.
Forza Motorsport
Forza games were released as often as EA Sports games for a spell. More than two years have passed since the fantastic Forza Horizon 4 was released. We were given a teaser for Forza Motorsport a year ago. This is probably a bit of a reset as Turn 10 Studios is reworking the game engine from the ground up and removing the number from the name. Two factors made the preview from last year stand out. Initially, the video played featured vehicles repeatedly round the same bend (the Laguna Seca corkscrew). Secondly, the teaser said that it was exclusive to PC and Xbox Series X|S. Since Turn 10 won't be releasing this game for Xbox One, they can truly push the game's technology and graphics.
Microsoft promised to support Xbox One with all first-party games for a few years after Xbox head Phil Spencer unveiled the new devices. This might indicate that the release date of Forza Motorsport won't occur until 2022 at the latest. But because the game is now in closed beta for a very limited group of Forza enthusiasts, we wouldn't be shocked to see it released in early 2022 or—more likely—launched in September 2022. We anticipate seeing at least a more in-depth gameplay trailer, given the game is obviously in its last stages of production.
Starfield
When we eventually find out what Starfield is, it should be the Xbox and Bethesda E3 presentation. Over the years, a few pictures for Bethesda's most recent game have surfaced, but the announcement trailer—which was more of a mood piece than a gameplay tease—is the only official picture or video that we have seen. Though there are many rumors about the game, not many of them have been verified. We are aware that it is a single-player game that aims to be a next-generation experience and that it is the first of a series. Any more speculation about the game is just speculation.
We anticipate that it will be an RPG of some kind since Todd Howard and his group are well-known for them. It is anticipated to be a PC and Xbox exclusive. According to some potential screenshots, there will be health and stamina bars, and players will need to control their carbon dioxide and oxygen levels. It's reasonable to infer that there will be combat on display since these leaked photos also included a shotgun in a holster. For the most part, however, we'll simply have to wait and see.
Other studios in Bethesda
Even though Microsoft paid a lot of money to acquire all of ZeniMax's studios, we don't really expect to see much from them. The final touches are being added to the games by Arkane Studios and Tango Gameworks. However, because these are PlayStation-only releases, it's reasonable to assume that nothing from Xbox and Bethesda will be shown off at the E3 expo. It must be acknowledged, however, that showcasing brand-new teasers for them with subtitles indicating that Xbox Game Pass will have them in 2022 would be a very brilliant move. MachineGames' Indiana Jones game is currently in its early stages of development. Furthermore, because we've already seen a teaser trailer for the game, it's doubtful that we'll see anything more for a long.
id Software is what's left. The release of Doom Eternal occurred more than a year ago. This indicates that the developer is probably working on something else and that no information will likely be released just soon. This may only not apply if it's a franchise we are already familiar with. Similar to how it did with Doom, we would like to see id revive the Quake series. It's also possible that Arkane is working on something else in addition to Deathloop. Again, it's another question completely if that's ready to be seen.
Other Xbox Game Studios
Naturally, Bethesda is not the only studio operating under the Xbox brand. We're probably going to witness some gameplay from Double Fine's most recent braintwisting game, Psychonauts 2. Although the Coalition has acknowledged that it is working on certain initiatives, they are still rather far off. We can safely assume that this week won't see any releases from the Gears studio. Since Avowed is still a long way off, Obsidian is likely not going to surface while working hard on it. Given that Microsoft just renewed the IP, we could hear confirmation of a The Outer Worlds sequel. If that's the case, however, then anticipate something like to a splash screen instead of any real film. We could receive a teaser on what to anticipate in Sea of Thieves since Rare is still updating the game. Additionally, the business is developing Everwild, so maybe we will eventually find out what the game is really about.
Perfect Dark was unveiled in December at The Game Awards. Don't expect to see much more from it since it's still in the early stages of creation. Speaking of The Game Awards, Senua's Saga: Hellblade II was revealed the year before. Not much information about the game has been released since then. It's most likely time for some gaming, and maybe even a release timetable for next year. The next Fable is being worked on by Playground Games, although it will likely be fully revealed in the next year. Furthermore, it is our assumption that Playground will hold off on publishing a new entry in the Horizon spin-off until Turn 10 Studios has completed the Forza engine upgrade. Compulsion Games (We Happy Few) and Undead Labs (State of Decay) are two studios that have remained silent. It's possible that we'll get to see what these two studios are producing.Xbox Game Pass
We can say with certainty that Xbox Game Pass will be pushed hard, regardless of what is presented during the presentation. In addition to the previously listed first-party games, a plethora of independent games will also likely be unveiled for the service on launch day. There will undoubtedly be a sizzle video for ID@Xbox that highlights the independent titles that will be available on Xbox Game Pass.
We wouldn't be shocked to see a "and it's available now" moment there, as Flight Simulator is scheduled to launch on console this summer. Rumor has it that the newest game in EA's Battlefield series would launch on Xbox Game Pass right away. That may be a really important revelation to make during the conference. Microsoft has taken a proactive approach in luring some high-profile third-party games onto the platform. On the first day of Game Pass, the console versions of Outriders and Mechwarrior 5: Mercenaries were included. Hopefully, this extends to the PC side of things as well.
And how about include Ubisoft+ in Game Pass if you'd want a wilder guess for what may be added to it? After all, the Ultimate edition of the subscription service includes access to EA Play. Rumor has claimed that Ubisoft+ may be added to Game Pass, and E3 would be a great venue to make the announcement.
What will be on display at Bethesda E3 and Xbox Live? Your horrors or your dreams?
While there are a few certain predictions among them, the most certain one is that something unexpected will happen. With so much to prove, Microsoft and the Xbox team will want to demonstrate why they have been purchasing so many studios. After the disasters of Fallout 76 and Wolfenstein Youngblood, Bethesda must also rise to the occasion. We can only hope that the firm makes a big splash and wows us all when Starfield is fully revealed. But one thing you can count on is that we'll cover every significant news right here on AnyBet365.
