In Fortnite, weapon modifying may be rather complicated, but it's often avoidable. Let me walk you through the Week 7 Challenge in Fortnite, which requires you to kill opponents using a weapon that has a barrel mod.
How to play Fortnite with a barrel mod
In Fortnite, there are several methods to get a barrel mod, but the simplest option is to find one in the wild. There are random modifications preloaded on every weapon you find. The gun will have more attachments the rarer it is.
Noteworthy is the fact that atypical armaments such as the Tow Hook Cannon and Magneto Power , irrespective of rarity, don't have mods.
To view what's installed, you may simply peek at the little boxes beneath the weapon's ammunition (seen above). If there is an image within the box, you have a barrel mod because the barrel is the square that is furthest to the right.
You may check your weapons from your inventory if you'd want to have a closer look, but I'd advise waiting till it's safe to do so. You have the option to enable Visual Footsteps in order to prevent your adversaries from ambushing you.
You will automatically beat 10 opponents using a weapon that has a barrel mod in order to accomplish the Week 7 Challenge.
Can I switch Fortnite barrel mods?
A variety of weapon attachments, including barrel modifications, are modifiable in the Weapon Bunkers places across the area. Strangely enough, the contest doesn't begin with the Bunkers open. You have to hold out until the first storm circle shuts. When this occurs, a number of bunkers will open, and if you're close to one, a loud siren will notify you.
Based on my observations, Bunkers often draw respectable players who want to use their preferred attachments. You may wait for an easy kill or utilize the bunkers before they arrive.
Remember that using the Weapon Bunker's mod bench costs gold, and you may spend a lot of money customizing all of your weapons. For the challenge, I suggest adding a barrel mod, although Extended magazines are always worth the Gold.
