It's always good to see creators give credit to the great games that have influenced them throughout the years. With its allusions to various video game series, Wuthering Waves, the most recent Genshin-like gacha game to be launched, masterfully captures this idea. To the extent that the Wuthering Waves developers secretly included a comical allusion to a Devil May Cry 5 meme in the game.

While some Rovers commend WuWa for having a fair gacha system, others like the game's creator Kuro Studios' subtleties. There is a chair at the top of the map, which you may discover while exploring the post-apocalyptic landscape. The site is directly south of Jinzhou, and a very tall mountain will be seen.
The choice to sit and regain health in the chair with a terrifying aura, which also happens to have a sword resting next to it, is located at the top. Fans of DMC will almost instantly understand what this is alluding to. For those who do not know, Kuro Studio is talking about Devil May Cry 5's Vergil's plastic chair mod.

.For Wuthering Waves, the DMC allusions continue with the character YangYang. (who wields a katana) has an attack move for her Resonance Skill that is notably Vergil-esque. It seems that the WuWa developers have already shown their admiration for the Capcom franchise.
Lucia is a character in Kuro Game Studio's previous game, Punishing: Gray Raven, who had an Alpha version. It's also evident from a cursory look at her attack movements how much DMC has inspired the developers.
This still holds true for their newest release, Wuthering Waves, even down to how much the fighting resembles Devil May Cry. Nevertheless, as DMC fighting isn't 1:1, be sure you are familiar with the lock-on, counterattack, parry, and dodge mechanics.
