Getting to Mohgwyn Palace is perhaps the simplest route (which of course depends on how far along you are in the game): completing the quest line for White Mask Varré.You don't need to worry about how much or little you've spoken with Varré since his quest line's stages won't actually start until after you've defeated Godrick the Grafted. at Stormveil Castle.Take the following actions in the correct order:- After beating Godrick the Grafted, speak to Varré at the First Step site of grace. He will congratulate you and suggest an audience with Two Fingers at the Roundtable Hold.
- Head to Roundtable Hold and open through the newly-opened door in the main room to behold Two Fingers. Talk to the Finger Reader and exhaust her dialogue.
- Head back to Varré, who is now at the Rose Church in Linurnia, shown below. If you’re struggling to find this point of grace, make sure to explore all of Linurnia for all the three map fragments. You may be in the wrong section.
- At the Rose Church, speak to Varré who will be standing in front of it. When asked, tell him that Two Fingers “didn’t seem right.” Don’t worry if you said that you through it looked fine, as he’ll only dismiss you and you can talk to him to get asked again.
- Varré will express his joy at your agreement, and will issue you five Festering Bloody Fingers. You must invade three other players with these items. It doesn’t matter if you win or lose, so if you’re in a hurry, you could execute yourself immediately upon entering another world.
- Alternatively to invading three other players, you could defeat the NPC Magnus the Beast Claw by invading his world Writheblood Ruins, pictured below.
- Upon invading three other players or defeating Magnus the Beast Claw, return to Varré. He will appoint you as a Knight of Mohg should you let him, and will give you the Lord of Blood’s Favor.
- You now must wash the cloth in a maiden’s blood. As you’re maidenless, you must instead travel to Church of Inhibition, pictured below. There you’ll find a statue that you can interact with to soak the Lord of Blood’s Favor into maiden blood. Just ignore the invader that will be after you. Please note that the Church of Inhibition can only be traveled to from the north and not the south. Go to the Grand Lift of Dectus site of grace and head south and around to get there.
- Return to Varré and talk to him. You’ll need to offer your finger. Keep talking to him until you receive both the Bloody Finger (a reusable Festering Bloody Finger) and the Pureblood Knight’s Medal.
In the Consecrated Snowfields, using the teleporter
You might also utilize the teleporter located in the Consecrated Snowfield to get to the Mohgwyn Palace hidden location located in Elden Ring. Getting both halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion is how you do this. Since this is a late-game location, just complete Varré's questline if you're unsure how to go anywhere.You may use a second command to operate the Grand Lift of Rold and go to the Consecrated Snowfield instead of the Mountaintops of the Giants if you have both pieces of the Haligtree Secret Medallion.
