Elden Ring: The location of Fia and Deeproot Depths

Another hidden location in

Another hidden location in Elden Ring is Deeproot Depths. Because of all the discoveries you will undoubtedly make, this game is essentially the Inception of hidden regions. The dungeon will lead you to meet an old buddy in this specific instance. This is our Elden Ring map to assist you in locating Fia, the Deathbed Companion from Roundtable Hold, and Deeproot Depths.

Take note: See our Elden Ring guides and features hub for further details. Similarly, note that there are some small spoilers in this guide.

The path to Elden Ring - Deeproot Depths and Fia Nokron Eternal City: An ExplorationIn order to reach the Deeproot Depths in Elden Ring, you must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Uncertain: Getting a hug from Fia in Roundtable Hold.
  • Uncertain: Meeting Sorcerer Rogier during the Margit boss fight and, subsequently, while going through Stormveil Castle. You’ll cause him to spawn in Roundtable Hold where you can talk to him.
  • Uncertain: Meeting D past Saintsbridge in Limgrave and having him appear in Roundtable Hold.
  • Uncertain: Reaching the first point of no return in the campaign may or may not be required (I’m not sure but I’m well past that point already). This will cause some characters to leave Roundtable Hold or die outright. Fia is one of the characters who will leave.
  • Required: Defeating Starscourge Radahn in Caelid is an absolute necessity. This gives you access to a secret area called Nokron Eternal City.
Now, presuming that you have previously gained entrance to Nokron Eternal City, use the Mimic Tear to go to the quick travel point located in the Ancestral Woods. This is the gateway to Night's Sacred Ground, as those who have been following Witch Ranni's quest will recall. But you should cut north past the mobs rather than entering the dungeon.Proceed through the jungle until the luminous jellyfish comes into view. All the way to the cliffs, run past them. You can see ledges that lead to a structure if you look down below.Proceed along the aqueduct, keeping an eye out for your adversaries. Eventually, an NPC will appear and ask for the Twinned Armor Set, which is the set of gear that D discarded before he passed away.Take note: For now, I decided to refuse.Chief battle: Brave GargoylesProceed until you reach a large area with waterfalls. You will fight two Valiant Gargoyles here. There will just be one at first, so keep yelling at it and try to save as many flasks as you can.The second Valiant Gargoyle will spawn at around 50% HP. At this point, you should take out your first opponent to prevent the fight from going to a two-on-one. Likewise, watch out for their assaults with poisoned breath. You will get the Gargoyle's Greatsword and Gargoyle's Twinblade upon defeating them.Next, locate a Site of Grace by going close to the waterfalls. There's a casket beside it. You may interact with the casket to have your character sleep in it, much like you did and will do in the Lake of Rot. After that, the coffin will be beam up into the sky. Alright, so...The Hidden Valley of Deeproot Depths in Elden RingYou are going to find yourself in a dark woodland after the movie. You have now arrived in Elden Ring's Deeproot Depths hidden location.A Dung Beetle with Ash of War: Golden Land and a Erdtree Avatar are in front of the other two. But our primary objective is located to your right when you spawn.Using the tree branches, cross the abyss and go to the end. There is a Finger Reader and a Site of Grace at the cliffs. When you're ready, rest and charge through the forest canopy and beyond the crowds. You'll eventually come to the Across the Roots Site of Grace in a clearing. While there are several minibosses and plenty of treasure in this zone, our Elden Ring Deeproot Depths guide will concentrate on getting you to Fia as soon as possible.Look to the skyscrapers beyond for this. Giant branches should be seen winding around this space. There are hostiles within the towers itself that will breathe fire if you approach. As you can see in the picture below, our objective is to leap onto one of the smaller branches that is protruding and ride past them. It will circle around a tower and come to a jumpable ledge. Attempting to proceed in the other direction will likely result in an opponent blocking your route and burning you and Torrent. You are able to tag the Site of Grace after landing on the ledge. There's an aperture nearby that opens into a large room (as this article's main picture shows).Take note: The gargoyle monsters are certain to have their backs turned by this particular Site of Grace behind the towers. To kill anyone in range, you may employ ranged attacks or spells (such as Comet Azur from Sorceress Sellen's quest). Every kill will net you hundreds of runes, and you may take a break to let the monsters revive for a few short bursts of farming.Fia's Champions and I met them at Elden RingThere are barricades that will surface as you go closer to the dead "thing" in the rear of this arena. One of Fia's Champions will then appear.Sorcerer Rogier will then appear as well. For this reason, I'm not sure whether it's necessary to meet with him and put him on Roundtable Hold. In any case, you may easily utilize weapon skills against Rogier, but be cautious while using his Glintstone Phalanx, since it delivers several hits. After Rogier is eliminated, three more opponents will appear. Along with Lionel the Lionhearted, there are two of Fia's Champions—a dual-wielder and a caster with a shield. Because he has the ability to cast Deathskull and Death Blight on his surroundings, Lionel is the most deadly of the group. You may equalize the odds if you have a Spirit Ash that contains many summoned monsters (such as Greatshield Soldier Ashes).By defeating this formidable opponent, you will get Fia's Mist, a Sorcery spell. Similarly, you will be able to speak with Fia in Elden Ring once again. Last but not least, if you fulfill the necessary conditions, you may battle the hidden boss Lichdragon Fortissax in order to get an item for a different conclusion.Revision: Entering Leyndell's sewage system to reach the Deeproot Depths in Elden RingI have learned—thanks to Georg in the comments section—that there is an additional, secret route to Deeproot Depths. In the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds/Cathedral of the Forsaken, you must essentially pass through the fake wall behind Mohg's altar, which is only possible if you take off all of your armor components. You may also get the Flame of Frenzy's power in this chamber for a surprise conclusion. The YouTuber Squeakasaurus Rex has the video below for you to watch:
