The next place you should visit in Elden Ring is Leyndell's capital city. You may approach these new issues in a few different ways. This is our Elden Ring tour, which will assist you in getting to Leyndell capital city from several directions.
Take note: See our Elden Ring guides and features hub for further details. Likewise, be aware that this tutorial includes spoilers since we're talking about a place you'll visit much later in the game.Elden Ring guide: How to go to Leyndell's capital city
Turning on two Great Runes.Make sure you've triggered at least two Great Runes in Elden Ring before beginning your hike all the way to Leyndell.
- If you’ve been following regular progression, then you’ve definitely beaten Godrick the Grafted. Likewise, you were able to activate Godrick’s Great Rune.
- You also defeated Rennala Queen of the Full Moon. Rennala’s Great Rune of the Unborn is already activated by default, since it’s the function that allows you to respec your stats.
Once those two conditions are satisfied, go back to Roundtable Hold and speak with Finger Reader Enia. When she declares that you are prepared to become an Elden Lord, you will be granted entry to the capital. However, how do we really get there?
Leyndell's MapTo the best of my knowledge, there are three routes leading to Leyndell's capital city in Elden Ring. The third is more of a leisurely walk, the other will give you headaches, and the first is purely for laughs.First Technique: Sobbing Peninsula Chest
Let's begin with the humorous opening. It entails traveling to Weeping Peninsula, which is located south of Limgrave and is an early-game location. The Tower of Return is located in the southwest. You will fall victim to a transporter trap if you get to the top and open the chest.
The Divine Bridge, which also features a Site of Grace, is where you will spawn. However, there is a Guardian Golem just in front of you. It objects to being drawn by you in the style of one of your French females. It wants to completely destroy you.
If you wish to battle it, you may use a ranged weapon to snipe it from a distance, albeit the damage won't be great. If you have a melee weapon, you may also shorten the distance by striking its legs. If you defeat it, you'll get the Halberd of the Golem.
On the other hand, you may just open the chest by dodge-rolling to the right. It features the Blessed Dew Talisman, which is really useful if you don't want to use up all of your flasks since it steadily regenerates your HP.
Take note: This room has a lift that descends and a portal that opens into another region. Just keep this area in mind since they are blocked till you enter Leyndell properly. Regardless, take a nap in the Divine Bridge Site of Grace to restore your ability to move quickly.Method #2: Leyndell South and Dectus's Grand LiftThe Grand Lift of Dectus is the second route to Leyndell in Elden Ring. I discussed crossing the Ruin-Strewn Precipice to get to the Altus Mountains in our earlier tour. Nevertheless, because the roads are linked, it's also acceptable to go by the Grand Lift of Dectus.
You'll get a lot of headaches, however, if you take the major route that runs south to Leyndell. There are two Guardian Golems (one with a massive bow) next to the Grand Lift of Dectus.
Two Tree Sentinels will then pursue you once you're in front of the city's gates. After that, a Corrupted Angel—that's only a nickname—will swoop in and smash you on the promenade.
It would be necessary for you to remain mounted in order to escape these monsters, since they will fire, attack, and flee.
Approach #3: Leyndell North and Windmill VillageIn Elden Ring, the northern roadway in the Altus Mountains is the third route to Leyndell. If you've previously found it, you may spawn in Windmill Village or teleport from the Forest-Spanning Greatbridge to get here. Additionally, there's a sloping road where you battled Wormface to the north of the Minor Erdtree. Of course, the Grand Lift of Dectus is a great place to swing north.
Once you've passed the outside walls, continue on the road. You may also tag the adjacent Site of Grace. Some cool prizes in this field are:
- Ash of War: Lightning Slash – Dropped by a Dung Beetle near one of the camps.
- A Minor Erdtree and a couple of Tears for your Flask of Wondrous Physick (one is close by along the meadows).
You may go south, but be sure to stay away from the great promenade. There, a monster will taunt you until it changes into a boss that resembles Margit the Fell Omen. To make sure you don't unintentionally trigger the spawn of the Valiant Gargoyle, stay away from the promenade that goes even farther south.
Try to visit the plazas nevertheless. Each has two Golden Seeds for charging your flask, while the one to the south holds a Site of Grace and the Leyndell map stele.
Terrorist battle: Draconic Tree GuardianI understand your thought process; after all, we haven't even entered the capital yet, and every door is locked. Don't worry, however. All you have to do is take the main road east from the Outer Wall Battleground. You will come across a number of Golems along the route; attempt to dodge their blows.
The Capital Entrance Rampart will eventually appear, however a Draconic Tree Sentinel is still stationed to watch over it. This opponent differs mostly from the regular variant in that it has a near-instantaneous Lightning Strike and a medium-range Fire Breath. By avoiding its range, one may escape being hit by the Fire Breath. But if you try to dodge the Lightning Strike while mounted, it will blast you. Although I was unable to test the motion when you're trying to mount or dismount, rolling would be preferable.
The Dragon Greatclaw and Dragonclaw Shield will be dropped by the defeated Draconic Tree Sentinel. Ultimately, Elden Ring contains the inside of Leyndell Royal Capital as well as another Site of Grace beyond the drawbridge.
