How to Beat Wormface: A Guide
Situated on the Altus Plateau, the Wormface boss from Elden Ring protects the Minor Erdtree. This place is due northeast of the quick travel spots for the Forest-Spanning Greatbridge and Bower of Bounty (i.e., where you may finish the Mirage Rise Phantom Crests secret). The monster, like its lesser counterparts, is dressed in black, frayed attire, and this location is shrouded in fog. To ensure that you can see it well, it is thus preferable to spend the time till midday.
We can completely cheese the Wormface boss in Elden Ring, just as we can with the Erdtree Avatar/Putrid Avatar and Ulcerated Tree Spirit. As always, make sure you have enough of ammunition and equip a ranged weapon.
The idea is to take a backseat and aim distantly. Instead of locking on, it's preferable to aim by holding right-click since the monster moves slowly sideways and might make you miss.
There are only a few notable items that you need to stay away from:
- Melee Lunge – Although Wormface looks like a decrepit giant, it will lunge for you from time to time.
- Blight Belch – It’s got two types of ranged attacks. The first makes it vomit a bit closer to where it’s standing, and the other has fairly long range. You have to be quick to get out of the way. Even if the vomit doesn’t hit you, the blight status will gradually accumulate. When it’s full, your character will get impaled and die instantly.
Either way, you shouldn't have too much trouble defeating Wormface in Elden Ring. You may utilize them to make your Flask of Wondrous Physick, including the Crimsonspill Crystal Tear and Speckled Hardtear.
