With concerns about PC performance, the Wild Hearts team promises a patch to address CPU bottlenecking.

On February 16,

On February 16, Wild Hearts will formally debut. However, individuals who have a Pro subscription with EA Play have had access to the game many days ahead of schedule. For those who have seen what the game's all about, there has undoubtedly been some enthusiasm. Sadly, Wild Hearts seems to be experiencing a few performance problems, notably a CPU bottleneck. Nonetheless, the developer is aware of these issues and is preparing a fix.

Currently, it seems that one of the main issues with Wild Hearts is the CPU bottlenecking issue. Even some PCs with high-end or mid-range CPUs are experiencing some tough performance difficulties due to it. Fortunately, a fix is being worked on by the developer and should be available early next week. Although the formal release of the game is still a ways off, the developer has acknowledged the issue. While they are expected to appear later, DLSS and FSR support are currently absent from Wild Hearts as well.

Wild Hearts

Its performance is being impacted by a CPU bottleneck

The performance of players that started playing Wild Hearts early has been below average. And the community has become somewhat distressed as a result. Problems are being reported by some gamers even with the graphics settings relatively low. On Reddit, a gamer shared their experience. They were still obtaining low frames per second on an RTX 3080 and a Ryzen 5 5600X, even at 720p resolution. This is probably an illustration of the CPU bottleneck that Wild Hearts is experiencing right now. In a few places, a different player referred to the game as ugly. It is evident that the developer still has to work out a few difficulties.

Furthermore, it seems that Wild Hearts does not function very well on the Steam Deck. Not good news at all: SteamDeckHQ on Twitter claims that the game fails to "hit a stable 30 FPS with all settings turned to low." Many PC gamers now choose to play games on the Steam Deck, therefore it must function at its best. It is still something Omega Force can resolve. However, you should be informed of these current problems if you want to purchase the game when it launches.
