The release date of Portal RTX is almost approaching, and Nvidia has revealed the PC specifications.
Portal
Portal The well-known puzzle game RTX, which has new graphics and ray tracing, was supposed to arrive in November . Regretfully, it seems that the launch has been moved forward a little, but not much. The Portal RTX PC specifications have been released by Nvidia for everyone to review in advance of the game's release the following week. They may also give you a little fright. By now, everyone knows that ray tracing severely degrades a rig. Nvidia has released the minimum, recommended, and ultra PC requirements for Portal RTX. In the latter case, the GPU vendor provides specifications for 4K 60 frames per second gaming with ray tracing, and they're not very nice. You will need at least an i7-12700K or Ryzen 9 5900 CPU plus 32 GB of RAM, in addition to an RTX 4080 GPU with DLSS 3 enabled. In order to fully enjoy Portal RTX, Nvidia suggests building a very powerful PC.You may, of course, change and experiment with the settings. It is less consoling, nevertheless, to know that the standards are minimal and suggested. If you want to use a High graphics preset at minimum settings of 1080p and 30 frames per second, your options are an RTX 3060 with an i7-6700 or Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. That increases to an RTX 3080 GPU and an i7-9700K or Ryzen 5 3600 CPU when running at 1080p and 60 frames per second. They both want 16 GB of RAM. A battle over that ray-traced cake is sure to ensue. We won't have to wait long to find out how much power is needed for a 1440p aspect ratio, which is something I'd want to see.
