It's true that LEGO Fortnite is not the crossover that many anticipated. People are still unsure about the actual nature of it even after the trailer has been released. This is what we currently know.
The Battle Royale has nothing to do with LEGO Fortnite.
Some people may be surprised to learn that Fortnite is more than just a battle royale game. Building fortifications throughout the day and surviving waves of adversaries was the goal of the original Fortnite game. It seems like LEGO Fortnite will resemble the original Fortnite much more than the well-liked Battle Royale.
It is still quite unusual, however. LEGO Fortnite is committed to fostering creativity and teamwork, and it will support multiplayer with up to seven pals. Building will be possible, as is customary with both LEGO and Fortnite; but, given the creative drive, a lot more should be accessible to create than in earlier Fortnite games.
Rumors and leaks suggest that LEGO Fortnite will be a massively multiplayer procedurally generated game. There will be several well-known spots scattered throughout, such the Ninjago Dojo. There will be a ton of locations to discover, plenty of materials to gather, tons of stuff to construct.
Given that LEGO Fortnite has farms with crops and animals, it seems that this game will also be a survival game in which you'll need food supplies to survive—an additional technical distinction.
All things considered, this is looking to be quite different, so you shouldn't base your expectations on past Fortnite games. Similar: When is LEGO Fortnite coming out?
