Job Rotation for Final Fantasy XIV Pictomancer

In Final Fantasy XIV, the primary Pictomancer rotation is using your canvases to paint different icons in order to perform strong spells instantly. The primary skill of the job is managing the cooldowns of all your painting talents, but once you get the hang of it, it's not too difficult. You'll be able to access your three basic canvas paintings at level 80. During the first hours of the job, acclimate yourself to handling your cooldowns. At levels 90 and 100, things change, but you don't have to worry about stuff like Dark Paint not yet.

Level 80 Pictomancer Rotation

: Pictomancer has very little difficulty at level 80. PomThe three most important talents to focus on are Motif, Hammer Motif, and Starry Sky Motif. These each enable you throw a distinct follow-up strike and paint a moogle, hammer, or landscape on your canvases, accordingly.
Square Enix is the image
You may cast Pom Muse, for instance, a powerful AOE strike that takes the place of Living Muse on your hotbar, by painting a Pom Motif . You may then paint a Wing Motif to employ another AOE called Winged Muse since this has two charges. When you use both of them, your first canvas will be painted fully, allowing you to cast Mog of the Ages, a very powerful AOE.Similarly, you may charge Striking Muse by painting a Hammer Motif. You may use this to build a hammer for a strong combination, starting with Hammer Stamp. You may cast Starry Muse with Starry Sky Motif to create a circular scene at your feet. Your damage will rise and your cooldowns will shorten while you stand within this ring. You may also cast Subtractive Palette instantaneously with it. You may cast more powerful versions of your ordinary single-target and AOE spells with this talent, which normally requires 50 Palette Gauge (accumulated by performing normal spells).Speaking of, as a Pictomancer, your go-to attacks are Fire in Red and Fire II in Red. Your single-target spell is the former, while your AOE spell is the latter. Each of them has a follow-up spell, but when you cast it, the spells on your hotbar will change automatically. You may cast Blizzard in Cyan and Blizzard II in Cyan, which are upgraded versions of your standard spells, when you perform Subtractive Palette. Lastly, you will accrue White Paint charges as you finish combos, which you may use to cast Holy in White.

Pictomancer Opener, Level 80

To get a sense of things, try it out for yourself; it sounds much more complicated on paper than it does in reality. After becoming acquainted with Pictomancy, you may attempt this typical Pictomancer opener.
  1. Starry Sky Motif
  2. Starry Muse
  3. Hammer Motif
  4. Striking Muse
  5. Hammer Stamp
  6. Hammer Stamp
  7. Hammer Stamp
  8. Pom Motif
  9. Pom Muse
  10. Swiftcast
  11. Wing Motif
  12. Winged Muse
  13. Mog of the Ages
  14. Subtractive Palette
  15. Blizzard in Cyan
  16. Stone in Yellow
  17. Thunder in Magenta
With a powerful rush of damage, this opener carries you through all three canvases. Once you've used it, just repeat your standard single-target or AOE combination, depending on the circumstances, then paint your Motifs once more when your Muses interrupt cooldown.

Picomancer Rotation at Level 90

For Pictomancer, things mostly stay the same at level 90. There are only three new elements to be aware of. First off, when combined with Hammer Brush and Polishing Hammer, your Hammer Stamp talent becomes a whole new combination. However, they function precisely the same as Hammer Stamp. They just inflict greater harm.Temperature Coat Tempera Grassa receives an update. Following the activation of Tempera Coat, you may use Tempera Grassa to remove your personal shield and instead create a barrier 10% of your maximum HP around yourself and every party member nearby . It does wonders for keeping your group useful and averting raid-wide harm!Last but not least, Comet in Black is a new AOE that you get. This causes greater damage but functions in the same way as Holy in White. Casting Subtractive Palette is the only way to get Black Paint , which is needed to cast it. You may cast Comet in Black by using Subtractive Palette to turn one stack of White Paint into Black Paint. Essentially, the AOE of your burst window has been strengthened.

Picomancer Rotation at Level 100

The Pictomancer level limit doesn't really affect much, but there are a few extra talents that you should be aware of. But the only things that have been added to your hotbar recently are Rainbow Drip and Star Prism.Rainbow Drip is a potent AOE that you should never use by itself since using it in its raw form would cause a six-second cooldown on all other skills on your hotbar. However, you may cast it during your Starry Sky burst window for free and without having to wait for a cast time. You will get five stacks of Hyperphantasia after painting a Starry Sky. One stack may be eliminated by using a GCD spell, Holy in White, or Comet in Black. Once all five stacks have been used, you may cast Rainbow Drip for free! The second new hotbar addition for Pictomancer at level 100 is Star Prism. Painting a Starry Sky will provide a boost known as Starstruck after you achieve level 100. This enables you to perform Star Prism, a powerful AOE that provides party members with surrounding healing. Don't overthink it; it's simply another portion of your busted window. It also uses up a stack of Hyperphantasia, which advances Rainbow Drip by one spell. But there's still more to think about while rotating your level 100 Pictomancers! Although they don't occupy any more space on your hotbar, you get two new paintings: Claw Motif and Maw Motif. These include additional phases to your standard painting rotation for Moogle, which will ultimately let you to cast a new AOE named .Retaliation against the Madeen after you've completed setting up Mog of the Ages. All this does is increase the damage that your Creature Canvas abilities do.

Top Pictomancer Hotbar Configuration

This hotbar arrangement is what we advise aspiring Pictomancers to use. It keeps your painting spells organized and accessible, making it easier to monitor your cooldowns.

Luckily, in Final Fantasy XIV, leveling up as a Pictomancer is not too difficult.

Amazing Tails

Amazing Tails iis still one of the greatest methods to get Experience Points in Final Fantasy XIV while using Pictomancer. No matter what level you are, turning in a complete diary to Khloe in Idyllshire will provide you half of a level of XP. This means you may keep it until a higher level to get a greater amount of experience. If you knock out roulettes every day, you'll probably get a few stamps. If you do the mentioned severe trials alone, you can finish them in a matter of seconds if you don't sync.

Roulettes

Roulettes are the accepted method for raising a job's level in Final Fantasy XIV. Even while DPS lines may sometimes become excruciatingly lengthy, the XP rewards are too high to ignore. As a Pictomancer, make sure you hit every roulette every day to expedite the leveling process. If you're short on time, the highest XP may be obtained via Main Scenario, Alliance Raid, and Leveling roulette.

Bozja

Bozja is an excellent method for completing DPS tasks since there are no lengthy lines to wait in. Simply enter the Bozjan Southern Front with your Pictomancer and finish as many FATEs as you can. Just say in the Shout chat channel that you're seeking for a group and someone will generally invite you to a farming party so you can clear FATEs more quickly. The finest XP sources for high-level DPS jobs are the Arkasodara tasks in Thavnair and the Pixie quests in Il Mheg. You can complete the three daily quests for each culture in a matter of minutes. For XP rewards, don't undervalue Allied Society Quests.

Spam Dungeon

Ultimately, spamming the highest-level dungeon is a reliable and tried-and-true technique to level up. It may be rather difficult to wait in lines, particularly if you are a DPS job, so look for a companion who can play with you as a tank or healer. In high-level zones, farming FATEs is a viable option to pass the time until your line opens. That is all there is to know about Final Fantasy XIV's Pictomancer Job! This class is among the most amazing ones the game has released in a long time, and it works well with all the new quests and dungeons in the Dawntrail expansion.
