Elden Ring: Celestial Dew application for hostile NPCs

Similar to previous

Similar to previous Souls games, the main focus of Elden Ring is fighting. Because of this, it's likely that you accidentally hit a button while interacting with NPCs. Fortunately, you may attempt to atone, just as in previous games. This is our guide on using Celestial Dew at the Church of Vows to end hostilities in the event that you unintentionally assault a non-player character (NPC).

Take note: See our Elden Ring guides and features hub for further details. Similarly, note that there are some small spoilers in this guide.

Elden Ring manual - Using the Celestial Dew in the Church of Vows to remove NPC animosity

Certain areas of Elden Ring, such Roundtable Hold and Rennala's chamber, are off-limits to fighting. But you'll be slashing, bashing, and spellcasting to your heart's delight in the great majority of locations. You could sometimes run across a helpful NPC like Sorceress Sellen, however she can be either of the vendor or prisoner varieties.

You still have hope if this takes place. All you have to do is locate Celestial Dew and the Church of Vows.

The Elden Ring Church of Vows

Liurnia of the Lakes' eastern region is home to the Church of Vows in Elden Ring:

  • If you’re coming from the north, you can travel down the road past the Frenzied Flame Village (just try to hide behind walls and obstacles when the “Eye of Sauron” tower sees you or you’ll get afflicted by madness).
  • If you’re coming from the south, you can find a sloping path from the swamps that lead to the highway.
  • These roads are interconnected, and you’ll soon find yourself on the hill where the church is.
Take note: There's a possibility you could come across a Bell Bearing Hunter if you come here at night (that is, if you transition to nighttime from another Site of Grace beforehand).

Miriel the talking turtle is within. This cool dude sells Sorcery and Incantation spells (such Carian Greatsword, Magic Glintblade, and Blessing's Boon), and you may give him your Prayerbooks as well. He also provides you with some historical information on the Lands Between. Furthermore, he advises "cleansing yourself of sins" by using the statue at the rear. This suggests atonement, a means of bringing back hostile or deceased NPCs that you unintentionally hit.

First of all, This does not apply to "you know where" characters or NPCs that are killed off throughout the quest or tale.Observation 2: Miriel says he's really forgiving, so don't worry if you bump him.Locations of Celestial Dew in Elden Ring

But we do need to gather Celestial Dew in Elden Ring in order to utilize the statue in the Church of Vows. These are a few that are simple to get.

The first comes from a Bloodhound Knight who isn't affiliated with Raya Lucaria's Academy.. Look behind you to see a passage when you enter through the magical main gate (do not interact with the rune). Trace it past a shopkeeper and a few wolves. You will battle a Bloodhound Knight at the conclusion, and he will drop the item.

Two additional are located in the Ainsel River Well, which is just east of the Church of Vows.

The region underneath is vast, so calling it a "well" would be an understatement.

After descending there, enter the main tunnel and make a right at the intersection. Proceed to the next room and turn left.

There need to be a pillar that looks down on the bottom floor. The Celestial Dew is on a ledge to your left.

Then hop down and go down the corridor. You will come to a Rockslinger Demon location. Make your way into the temple using the walls as shelter. The chart of the Ainsel River Well and a merchant are up ahead. He charges 7,500 runes for the item.Take note: You may find more Celestial Dew items in Elden Ring. Nokron Eternal City and Nokstella Eternal City are two examples of hidden regions that you should check out.
