Like the game itself, the PC port of Atomic Heart was mostly a mixed affair. Its main flaw was that it lacked essential components that are present in the majority of PC first-person shooters. The most significant absence, of course, was the FOV slider—a feature that many gamers really want. Fortunately, Atomic Heart has a patch that includes a FOV slider along with a number of other adjustments.

gets a FOV slider.Obviously, gamers of Atomic Heart were quite interested in the FOV slider. It's so important that it ranks first among all the patch notes that can be found on Steam. This is undoubtedly a very welcome improvement that should greatly improve everyone's comfort level while playing the game. Still, a lot of issues are resolved with patch 1.3.4.0 outside of the FOV slider. Even though many of these updates are minor, they nonetheless contribute to giving PC gamers a better experience. Additionally, there is a workaround for ultrawide displays. Thus, be sure to return to the game to see whether any of the difficulties you were having have been fixed.
In addition to the FOV slider, the most recent patch for Atomic Heart includes further fixes. This patch addresses many significant issues pertaining to quests. The patch fixes more than 20 distinct quest-related problems that may have left a player trapped. There are also a ton of gameplay fixes here in addition to this. It corrects "collisions in many places to prevent being stuck in an environment," for example. It also fixes an additional issue that prevented you from opening the map anywhere in the planet.

There are the standard performance and stability fixes included, just as with most updates.A number of audio and visual problems that somewhat detract from the game's aesthetics are also fixed with the 1.3.4.0 patch. Overall, this is a sizable patch that offers the game a number of helpful updates. The major attraction here, however, is undoubtedly Atomic Heart's new FOV slider.
