In Elden Ring, Lichdragon Fortissax is a hidden monster that you can only face after fulfilling a number of prerequisites as a part of a quest chain. For assistance in interacting with Fia so that you may battle and defeat Lichdragon Fortissax in Deeproot Depths, go to our Elden Ring boss tutorial.
Take note: See our Elden Ring guides and features hub for further details. Similarly, note that there are some small spoilers in this guide. The boss guide for Elden Ring teaches you how to defeat Lichdragon Fortissax in Deeproot Depths (a hidden monster).
Fia and the Death CurseDeeproot Depths is the location of the Lichdragon Fortissax boss battle in Elden Ring. View our separate guide for information on how to enter this zone.
After you've vanquished Fia's Champions, you'll be able to speak with Fia directly. Since Fia is unaware of your motives, she is first hostile. But you may ask to give her a hug. At that point, you may finish off her conversation choices.
I should tell you now that the Cursemark of Death is a special item you require. It's a part of a very long quest chain that will be quite challenging. The main points are as follows:
- Clear Caria Manor to reach the Three Sisters zone. This will let you start Witch Ranni’s quest.
- In Nokron Eternal City, go to the end of the Night’s Sacred Ground dungeon to obtain the Fingerslayer Blade.
- Bring it back to Ranni, who’ll give you the Carian Inverted Statue. Use this to turn Carian Study Hall upside down.
- Once you’re done with that, you’ll receive the Cursemark of Death from the Divine Tower of Liurnia.
Ranni's mission now takes a different turn as you go to Nokstella Eternal City. for her assignments. But that's exactly what we need for Fia's own mission, because you possess the Cursemark of Death.
Fia will bring up a type of "hallowbrand" when you speak with her. Now is the time to bestow the Cursemark of Death onto her. The Radiant Baldachin's Blessing will be bestowed to you; expend FP to gain more poise.
Then, continue chatting to Fia until she finally admits that she will have a kid by lying with Godfrey. You may either refresh the game or use quick travel to enter and exit at this point since nothing will happen.
Fia will be sleeping when you get back. You may access the Deathbed Dream by interacting with Fia.
Elden Ring Boss battle of Lichdragon FortissaxSincerely, I was mostly concerned about ranged combat in this instance, and Lichdragon Fortissax turned into a complete comedy. Basically, all you have to worry about while battling from a distance are these attacks:
- Flame Breath – It’s a dragon that breathes fire. Just run sideways to avoid it.
- Death Lightning – Several bolts of lightning will strike the ground. These spots will also be covered in Deathshroud, which will gradually increase your meter until you instantly die. You can safely avoid these by backing away and, in fact, you can keep shooting the boss if you’re out of the target area of the lightning strikes.
- Lightning Claw – The boss will roar before flying high up in the air. It will then maneuver and slash the area where you’re standing. This is easily avoided by dodging.
In any case, I believe I only ever healed once in the Elden Ring battle against Lichdragon Fortissax.(I was becoming greedy, so I was struck by the Flame Breath). Just stay back to avoid starting the boss's melee sequences; this is a really simple battle.
Upon defeating Lichdragon Fortissax in Elden Ring, you will find the Lichdragon's Remembrance as treasure. It may be traded for any of these two items in Roundtable Hold:
- Fortissax’s Lightning Spear (Incantation) – FAI 46.
- Death Lightning (Incantation) – FAI 47.
Don't forget to check in on Fia. You may get the Mending Rune of the Death Prince, a crucial artifact connected to the game's conclusion, when you defeat Fortissax. Similarly, Fia's Hood and Robe are yours to take if you take a nap at the Site of Grace (albeit it seems that Fia is deceased).
Take note: This place has a teleporter, but it's not operational right now.Elden Ring may be acquired using Steam. Visit our guides and features hub for further details.
