The monster-hunting game Wild Hearts by Omega Force has not launched on PCs as smoothly as gamers had anticipated. With a "mixed" user rating on Steam right now, Wild Hearts has a plethora of problems and performance concerns that are just too big to ignore. This, along with the initial price of $69.99 USD, left many gamers dissatisfied with the PC optimization. This, of course, forced the developer to start fixing these problems and, ideally, stabilize the game. Omega Force released a new 1.004 patch for Wild Hearts today, addressing CPU problems as a follow-up to their day one update.
Fans were given some information by the developer last week on what to anticipate from today's patch. One of the most notable updates addresses a CPU threading issue that the game was experiencing. This should lead to "significantly improved performance on high end PCs," as stated by the developers. The update also fixes "AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX visual artefacts" and enables users to turn off reflections in the game's settings.
Exist any additional fixes with the PC CPU patch for Wild Hearts?
The game has been updated to Wild Hearts , and its default resolution has been reset to 1080p. Earlier, the developer reported that some players were running the game at resolutions higher than what the suggested spec could support. In response, the developer promised to continue optimizing "in this area" and started working on modifying the Wild Hearts'recommended standard advice. Naturally, there are a ton of more performance and bug improvements included in the patch as well, but the developer did not say what those patches would be.
Apart from this latest update for Wild Hearts, the creator intends to address other audio desynch problems that are impacting the game. The developer advises users to just exit and reload the game in the meantime if they particularly experience these problems.
